  2. Extra-curricular activities help "round out" students
  3. Community Service is a great way to connect to the community and develop job skills
  4. Take the PSAT in the Fall - Wednesday, October 19th from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM $20                          
  5. Attend the Regional College Fair @ UMHS on Monday, October 3rd from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  6. Sign-up to listen to college admission representatives visiting ORHS in the fall
  7. Research different careers. (10th Grade classes will access the Naviance program)
  8. Meet with your academic counselor to review progress and look at post-secondary options
  9. Visit colleges when you have a chance.
  10. If you are enrolled in an AP Class, sign-up to take the AP Exam in May.
  11. Develop a resume, which is helpful for job interviews.  Resume resources are available in the Career Center.
  12. Do something special during your summer break - stop by the Career Center in the spring to pick up Summer Enrichment information.
