This event is for 9th - 11th graders and their families. Topics include - The UC Application Process, - How to strengthen your application, -Answering the Personal Insight Questions. There will also be a mini college fair after the presentation. All 9 campus will be represented.
This is a FREE educational workshop that is geared toward sophomores and juniors. We’ll discuss the FAFSA form and other ways to maximize the amount of financial aid you are eligible to receive. Learn how to pick colleges that will give you the best financial aid packages, how to lower your “out-of-pocket” costs and get the maximum amount of money from each school, and the 5 key factors colleges review in determining how generous your financial award will be. Guest speaker is Ron Adams, Certified College Planning Specialist and nationally recognized college funding expert. For each family that goes, Interact Club will receive $25 and will donate all the proceeds to Mito Kids and the Epilepsy Foundation.

Need help preparing the perfect college application? Want to know what colleges are really looking for in an applicant? If yes, the College Admissions Simulation Night is for you! The College Admissions Simulation Night is a unique and engaging way to discuss the college application process. This event is especially beneficial to high school Juniors, but students in ALL grades are encouraged to attend! College representatives will lead parents and students through a mock admission committee using sample applications from real students. This exercise will help students and parents learn the importance of assembling a strong college application. As an added bonus, the night will conclude with a mini college fair, and time for students to mingle with college representatives.
Scholarship Awards Night

At this event, we will recognize the students who have won local/community-based scholarships, and we will honor the community members and organizations who provide these opportunities for our students. Seniors, please inform Mrs. Rogers in the Career Center if you win a community-based scholarship.
