We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to visit with college representatives during your school day at ORHS! It's convenient and it's a great way to learn about the schools you're already interested in… and also the ones you have not yet considered. Admissions representatives from public, private, in-state, and out-of-state universities, technical and trade schools will visit ORHS throughout the year, most commonly during the Fall semester during break and lunch. Parent Night (Grade Level Parent Meetings) & College Admissions Panel
Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 6pm.
ORHS counselors will review upcoming Career Units, grade specific priorities, graduation, and planning for post secondary opportunities. The grade level presentation will be followed by an optional college admission panel. College reps from in-state, out-of-state, private, & public colleges will answer questions regarding their campus and admissions process.
Spring ASVAB will be offered on Monday, February 3rd

Whether or not you are interested in a military career, this assessment test can help you identify your strengths and suggest future career options. It is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the US Armed Forces, this is also an opportunity to learn more about your other career options after high school. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Start your career exploration in high school by taking elective classes via ORHS, Career Technical Education (ROP), or Advanced Education! On January 14th during lunch, come to the Large Gym to speak to teachers and students regarding elective courses that we offer at Oak Ridge or throughout the district.
