2024 AP EXAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Oak Ridge High School highly encourages all students to take AP exams for the AP classes they are enrolled in. Scoring well on an AP exam can earn a student college credit, enhancing the college application and saving a significant amount on tuition.  

 

For the 2024 AP exams, students at Oak Ridge High School will register online. This will be a two-step process. The registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.  

 

This year each AP exam will cost $98.00. Students have the option to pay for the exam(s) in full at the time of registration, or place a $40 deposit per exam. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Oak Ridge High School Counselor, Ms. Darsy Arburn via email darburn@eduhsd.k12.ca.us to learn more.

STEP ONE: 

Go to apstudents.collegeboard.org, sign-in to your student account, and join your AP Classroom(s). 

Note: Simply joining the College Board AP Classroom does not order the student an AP exam. Total Registration must be used to order and pay for each exam.

STEP TWO:

Online registration will begin on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 8:00 AM and end on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 3:59 PM. Any order placed after November 8th @ 3:59 PM will incur a $40 late ordering fee per exam.  

 

To order exams, students should click on the link provided on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050818. The order is not complete until the student prints the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end of registration. We strongly recommend that parent and student are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered and the STUDENT name is entered correctly.  

 

Please have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Student/Parent will choose whether to pay their entire balance without an additional fee or make a partial payment/deposit for a fee of $2.75, charged by Total Registration.

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION: 

- Monday, Sept.11, 2023 at 8:00 AM - Registration Begins

 

- Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2024 at 3:59 PM – Registration and payments after this date will incur a $40 late fee per exam.  

 

- NOTE: Spring AP Govt/Economics will NOT incur a late fee. Registration for these exams can occur until the March 7th deadline.  

 

- Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 3:59 PM - Registration Ends  

 

- Friday, March 8, 2024 at 3:59 PM - Registrations not paid in full will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.

 

- Should a student decide to cancel an exam after an exam was ordered, College Board will charge a $40 cancellation fee per exam.
