Career Technical Education / Regional Occupation Program
CTE (Career Technical Education)
Career Technical Education (CTE) and the Regional Occupational Program (ROP) are part of the California public school system. CTE's primary focus is to prepare students to successfully meet the ever-changing nature of today's technical workplace and the need to fill high-demand jobs with highly skilled applicants. Oak Ridge High School offeres a number of on-campus CTE courses.
ROP (Regional Occupational Program)
ROP is a key component of the Career Technical Education Program, providing course concentrations and advanced training through its "capstone" courses. Students from Oak Ridge can take ROP courses that meet a different high school campuses. See your Counselor for more information.
