Graduation & College Planning
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students will need a minimum of 240 credits to graduate.
Guidance Counselors are available to provide assistance in planning courses. For course descriptions, Career Technical Education pathways, and more, please reference the Course Directory and the Department tabs within the ORHS website. For information on our district's Regional Occupational Programs (ROP), click here.
Note: Completion of algebra course work, prior to grade 9, that meets or exceeds state academic content standards shall not exempt a student from the requirement to complete three mathematics courses (30 credits) in grades 9-12 (Education Code 51224.5)
Certificate of Completion
Students with disabilities may be awarded a certificate of completion rather than a diploma as determined by their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Parents may contact their child’s special education case manager for information.
